The Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) is the worldwide leader in behavior management training as it applies to crisis prevention and intervention. Since 1980, more than 5.4 million professionals have attended CPI training programs, from organizational leaders to associates, spanning thousands of organizations.

CPI training has been provided to professionals in the US (including Puerto Rico), Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. CPI’s training programs and support materials have been made available in seven languages and dialects. Corporate Training Specialists
CPI retains full-time Corporate Training Specialists who present the PrepareTraining® program and are responsible for all Instructor Certification Programs. All have direct, professional experience in workplace conflict management, crisis intervention, violence prevention, consultation, and policy development.

Corporate Training Specialists complete a rigorous training process, annual competency testing, and performance appraisal. Each continually expands his or her experience by developing and implementing a multifaceted, ongoing Professional Development Plan. Corporate Training Specialists are skilled at presenting and customizing the PrepareTraining® program to meet the needs of market-specific audiences and individual program participants. Our core group of Corporate Training Specialists is based at CPI’s international headquarters in Brookfield (Milwaukee), Wisconsin. This allows CPI to maintain fidelity, continuity, and quality assurance.
